During Microsoft’s Build 2014 conference, Nokia launched their new Nokia Lumia 930. It features a 5-inch display at a resolution of 1920 x 1080 with a very high pixel density of 441 PPI. The display is protected with Corning’s Gorilla Glass 3 and also includes Synaptics technology, which allows you to interact with the touchscreen even while wearing gloves.
The processor is a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon Processor SoC at clock speed of 2.2GHz with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of Storage. The 2420mAh battery will provide up to 18 days of standby power an 15.5 hours of talk time, that’s a long phone call!
Nokia and Microsoft’s collaboration continues with the impressive Windows Phone 8.1 providing a solid operating system experience. The camera is the very same 20MP shooter from the Lumia Icon and features an F/2.4 Zeiss lens with optical image stabilisation and dual LED flash. The device includes four microphones.
The Nokia Lumia 930 starts at $599 unlocked and will come in either black, white, green and orange colours. It will launch this June in Europe. This phone is basically the international edition of the Lumia Icon.
