MacRumors.com have received a number of potential iPhone 4S/5 cases based on supposed leaked designs of Apple’s next-gen smartphone and based on their size and dimensions a 4-inch display seems entirely possible. The extrapolated design suggests a tapered teardrop form factor with the following dimensions 4.7″ x 2.6″. It seems that some Third-party case manufacturers have banked on these rumored designs being legit and have created cases suitable for such a device. When placing an iPhone 4 into these third-party cases it is clear that the iPhone 4S/5 will be noticeably larger on either side and significantly thinner than it’s predecessor. Many sources still maintain that whatever Apple’s next iPhone will be called, it will feature a larger screen, which has been something users have requested for some time. Other screen sizes larger than the current 3.5-inch display have been rumored with 3.7 and 4.3-inches also suggested as potential possibilities.
