Samsung have begun shipping their Galaxy Tab 10.1-inch Tablet in the US today equipped with 4G through Verizon. Widely regarded by many as the greatest Android Tablet on the market and the biggest rival to the iPad 2, the Galaxy Tab 10.1-inch features a display resolution of 1280-by-800 resolution, dual-core 1GHz processor, GPS, Accelerometer, Gyroscope and Compass. The device also supports full 1080p video and a HD front facing camera with a rear facing 2MP camera. Running Android 3.0 Honeycomb the Tab 10.1 provides a media player with a wide range of codecs and file types supported including MP3, AAC, AMR, OGG, MPEG4, H.264, DivX, XviD among others. The 16GB version will set you back $530 and the 32GB version is a competitively priced $630.
