Acer are now shipping their Aspire 5755 series Notebook line, which now comes equipped with WiDi technology so you can wirelessly export the contents of the laptop’s 15.6-inch display to an external monitor. Spec wise the notebook is a fairly solid consumer grade mid to high-end offering with a 1366×768 resolution screen, an optional Core i7-2820QM CPU, 1TB of storage, 8GB of RAM and graphics duties taken care of by the Nvidia Geforce GT 540M with Optimus switching.

You’ll also find a DVD drive with optional Blu-ray, a low energy display and despite the presence of Wireless display technology the Aspire 5755 still boasts VGA and HDMI outputs just in case you still want to keep things old school. Check out Acer’s website for more, the notebook is available in a choice of four colors black, red, blue and brown now for £899 in the UK with a US release date tentatively planned soon at approximately $1,440.
