The Acer Revo RL100 is now shipping stateside and is billed as a “digital hub” equipped with Acer’s own clear.fi streaming service. Its already made waves over the water in Asia for the past 6 months. It boasts an AMD Athlon II K325 at a clockspeed of 1.3GHz. Storage options provide up to 750GB with 4GB of DDR3 RAM and the GPU is powered by Nvidia Ion technology. It’s dimensions measure just 1- x 11.81- x 7.09-inches making it ideal for under-the-telly use. Something about it’s thin and minimalistic form factor reminds me of a PlayStation 2. You’ll also find a whole host of I/O here with USB 2 ports, memory card reader, HDMI, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and Ethernet. Windows 7 Home Premium comes preinstalled.
