If you looking for a choice of bulky metallic custom PC chassises for either desktop or mid-tower configurations with plenty of expansion options then Lian Li’s newest Domus series editions may interest you. The PC-C60 and the PC-6 may look a tad drab and basic but they provide a neat and tidy package. The PC-C60 is the low-profile desktop edition seen on the left of the image below and its compact dimensions come in at 445mm (W) x 182mm (H) x 410mm (D). The tool-less design offers some full-size drive bays with capacity for three 2.5-inch and six 3.5-inch drives. At the back you’ll find 7 ventilated PCI expansion slots with space to spare for a large form GPU. Both chassises are fully compatible with ATX, Micro-ATX, and Mini-ITX motherboards. You won’t be needed a screwdriver either thanks to the addition of thumb screws. In the front you’ve got USB 3, eSATA and audio input ports.
The PC-6 is the larger mid-tower on the right of the image above. Incidentally both chassises offer similar cooling systems with 140mm front intake fans. The PC-6 boasts one fan in the front and one in the rear for exhaust purposes. A Fan speed controller switch is optional. It offers 8 ventilated PCI brackets and although has less storage brackets than the PC-C60 it does gain a third external 5.25-inch bay. As one would expect from a case of this quality you’ll find a handy cable management system inside. The cooling and ventilation systems include washable/removable air-filters to prevent dust from getting inside. The chassis provides anti-vibration features thanks to rubber suspension feet. The PC-C60 will set you back $149, while the PC-6 will cost slightly more at $229.
