Yet more new Sandy Bridge powered hardware from Acer, this time in the notebook variety. The Timeline X series is in it’s 3rd generation and the new models include the 13.3 (3830TG), 14.4 (4830TG) and 15.6-inch (5830TG). The entry level 13.3-inch edition comes with a choice of either the 2.3GHz Core i3-2310 or the Core i5-2410M. The 14.4-inch and 15.6-inch notebooks both come as standard with the i5-2410M only.

Other specs include the Nvidia GT540M GPU with 2GB of DDR3 Video RAM. There is also a new chiclet-style keyboard and more tapered chassis design. The notebooks will support up to 4GB of RAM, 10/100 MB ethernet, 640 GB of storage running Windows 7, USB 3.0 and three USB 2.0 Ports, HDMI Port, Wi-Fi 802.11n and display resolutions of 1366 x 768. The non-removal battery will provide up to an impressive 12 hours of continuous runtime thanks to it’s new Ultra-saving mode. Although a release date has not yet been announced prices in the US will start from $1,133.
