Dell has added two new consumer ultraportable notebooks to its Inspiron line called the M102z equipped with the latest AMD Brazos CPU. It features an 11.6-inch 1366×768 WLED backlit display with a 1GHz AMD C-50 APU, the Radeon HD 6250 GPU and 2GB of RAM. This entry level model will set you back $699. Additional hardware options are on offer for the more powerful higher specced model featuring the 1.6GHz E-350 APU and the Radeon HD 6310 GPU. RAM is 4GB and storage increases to 500GB. Weighing in at just 1.56KG the M102z is certainly in the Netbook weight category.

Other notable features include Wi-Fi 802.11n, Bluetooth 3.0, memory card reader, webcam, Three USB ports, Ethernet, HDMI, VGA out. The 6-cell battery delivers a solid 9 hours of runtime with an optional 9-cell battery providing up to 15 hours.
