Skype for Mac as it stands is a bit of a mess. Gone is the simplistic, efficient and minimalist chat interface of old, replaced with an overly complicated mess. In response to numerous such criticisms from users, Skype has launched a competition for Max developers to create and submit their own designs and suggestions for Skype 5 for Mac. The top 3 judges choice winners will receive an iPad 2, CCS3 for Web Designers, and a year subscription to Unlimited World Extra. The competition winner will not only have their design used in the next version of Skype but they will also receive a brand new MacBook Air and an iPad 2.
